These Terms govern access to Predah, this website, and related support materials provided by Predah.

1. Service overview

Predah is a prayer habit application designed to help users pause before distracting app use, build prayer consistency, and manage reminder routines. The app is available on iOS through the Apple App Store.

2. Acceptance of terms

By downloading, installing, or using Predah, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. These Terms supplement the Apple Standard End User License Agreement (EULA), which also applies to your use of the app.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the app. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, use the app with parental or guardian permission.

4. Subscriptions and billing

  • Paid features may be offered as auto-renewing subscriptions through the Apple App Store.
  • Subscription prices are displayed in the app before purchase and may vary by region.
  • Billing, refunds, and purchase management are handled by Apple under your App Store account terms.
  • You can cancel an active subscription at any time through Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions on your device.
  • Purchase validation and entitlement restoration may be handled through RevenueCat.
  • A "Restore Purchases" option is available in the app settings for eligible purchases.

5. Analytics, diagnostics, and third-party services

The app may use service providers such as RevenueCat, PostHog, and Firebase to operate subscriptions, restore entitlements, measure app usage, measure purchase conversion, and diagnose errors. These services are described in the Privacy Policy. You agree that these service providers may process information as needed to provide those functions.

6. App blocking and limitations

  • Blocking behavior depends on Apple Screen Time and Family Controls framework permissions.
  • Device-level restrictions, OS changes, permissions, and platform limits may affect how blocking works.
  • The app is offered on a reasonable-efforts basis and is not guaranteed to block every distraction in every scenario.
  • Blocking is designed as a mindfulness aid, not as a parental control or security measure.

7. No pastoral, medical, or emergency advice

The app provides habit and reflection tools. It is not a substitute for pastoral guidance, mental health treatment, medical advice, emergency intervention, or crisis services. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, contact a qualified professional or emergency service.

8. Acceptable use

  • Do not misuse the service, attempt to reverse engineer protected systems, or interfere with payment and entitlement flows.
  • Do not use the product in a way that violates applicable law or another person's rights.
  • Do not attempt to circumvent the app's blocking or subscription mechanisms.

9. Intellectual property

All trademarks, branding, site design, and original application materials remain the property of Predah or its licensors. Traditional prayer content and scripture references may be used under the terms applicable to those source materials.

10. Warranty disclaimer

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, perfect compatibility, or specific personal outcomes.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Predah will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of the app, site, or paid features. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Predah is registered. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be resolved through good-faith negotiation first. If negotiation fails, disputes will be submitted to the competent courts of the applicable jurisdiction.

Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory consumer rights under applicable law.

13. Termination

You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it and canceling any active subscription. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated.

14. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms as the product evolves. The latest version will be posted on this page. Material changes will be communicated through the app or via email where possible.
